Uptown Brasserie – New York Airport

Clik here to view.Ah, travelling. This was my first over the ocean vacation. The farthest I have ever travelled. So of course this comes with a super long airplane adventure. We left Calgary and headed to New York for a 3 1/2 hour layover. So what else do you do in that time but eat. Although we were tempted by the delicious looking Shake Shack, with such a long layover we were looking for something that might take a bit longer, so fast food was definitely out. After some strolling through the terminal we found Uptown Brasserie. We looked at the menu and decided this was the place. Clarke ordered the chicken and waffles which were delicious. I ordered the chipotle quesadilla, thinking to order small so that we could wander a bit more and find some dessert. You know to fill more time. This was a mistake as dinner was much better than the eventual dessert hat we eventually settled on. Chicken and waffles were great. Quesadilla was great. So this was a great first stop before our very long flight to Venice, Italy. Image may be NSFW.
